Journalism Student

Canisius
University (NY)

After graduating high school in France, I chose to continue my studies at Canisius University (Buffalo, USA) to pursue both a higher education in journalism and high-level swimming in NCAA Division 1.

Since the fall of 2022, I have been working towards a Bachelor’s degree with a Major in Journalism, in a very professional environment at Canisius University in Buffalo, New York.

My strong academic performance in 2022 and 2023 provided me with the opportunity to expand my studies with two minors that I have been pursuing since 2024: “Business” and “Science of Education”.

NCAA D1 Swimmer

Golden Griffins #GoGriffs

Sport and competition have been part of my life since I was 6 years old...

After graduating high school, it was unthinkable for me to have to choose between high-level sports and interesting higher education, and too few options in that regard were available to me in France.

Canisius University offered me the opportunity to tackle both challenges at once, and I seized the chance. I swim for the Griff's in NCAA Division 1! GO GRIFFS!!!

03.

Swimming Consultant

for UNIATHLETES

I joined the UNIATHLETES team in 2024 to share my experience and knowledge with other swimmers so they can succeed in this incredible experience of student-athlete life in the USA.

We help them and their families with their preparation, paperwork, questions, decisions, and negotiations... I love this role because it is essential, human, and very hands-on.

And I will never forget that without UNIATHLETES, I probably would never have succeeded as well in my American adventure!
"I'd like to go to the US but I don't know how it work" It is not always easyto know what to do, that's why we are here!
Ceci et le texte alernatif
"Studying in the US is too expensive" College in the US can be cheaper than it is in France, but it is necessary to start building the project early.
"When is the right time to start the process?" The ideal time is between 8 and 16 months before the expected date of departure so that we have time to get you the best possible scholarship.
